Mini is a very sweet girl, she has had two homes already and is a little nervous but she has a lovely temperament. She was born with deformed front legs but she is very able, and can get wherever she wants to go with a combination of using her wrists as paws or hopping on her back legs (she may not be able to use stairs). She is looking for a very loving home where she will be the only pet with lots of human company. She loves to be outside in the warm weather and will need a very safe, enclosed garden, where she can potter around during the day with no risk of getting out. A very dear girl, affectionate and curious, Mini will make a lovely companion or a sweet family pet.

Little Rosebud was born outside and grew up in a colony of feral cats. Of course she became pregnant, but instead of giving birth outside, desperately fighting to protect her babies, struggling to get enough food and find shelter, a very kind woman spotted Rosebud amongst all the other cats, and realising she was pregnant, bought a trap to try and catch her. Rosebud was desperate for help and got into the trap. Three days later she gave birth to five little kittens and with the help of that kind woman, she was able to care for them in a safe, warm and loving home. Rosebud had a space promised at the cattery and is here now with her babies. When they are old enough, she will be looking for a home with one dear little fluffball. They would like a home as the only pets with no children. Rosebud needs a home where very kind adults will give her time and space to gain in confidence and start to really develop a relationship with her new people. She and her little one must not have access to main or busy roads and would not be left for more than 4 hours in the day. Petal is incredibly sweet and well socialised and will bring love and laughter wherever she goes while her mum takes time to settle in.

Patti came into Last Chance with her two big brothers who quickly found a home together. Patti is now desperate to find a loving home with another kitten or young cat to be her very best friend and play and cuddle up with her. She is very sweet and gentle but quite shy at first and would like a home with slightly older children who are happy to give her a little time and space to settle in. She has lived with dogs and will be fine with a gentle cat friendly dog. Patti will be a very sweet family pet in a safe home where she won't be left for too long during the day.

Latte, Chai Gender/Age: Males and Female, 4 months Breed: Domestic Short Haired Colour: Tabby Location: New Romney These poor kittens were found living behind Costa along with their Mum. After public and staff intervention, they were trapped and brought into Last Chance where they are decompressing and slowly getting used to being around people. They are incredibly nervous and need a quiet home with a very understanding and patient owner who will help them adjust to life in a home. We would like them to go in pairs so they will have each other as company. At this current time, we would advise that they don't go to a home with young children as they are very scared.

Missy has been surrendered after finding the home too noisy and chaotic. She would love a quieter home with no dogs and while she is fine with most cats, she may prefer being the only cat in the home. Missy came in chatty and purring and so would love a home where she can be around people.

Silver was not neutered and became lost and pregnant. She somehow kept herself and her kittens alive and found some kind people to feed them all. The people got in touch with us and after some time they were able to borrow a trap and catch the whole family. Mum is very sweet and is looking for a home with Paws. Binx and Riley are looking for a home together. None of the kittens have been handled yet and will need lots of gentle socialisation and time in a loving home with gentle older children and friendly cats. Mum and her kitten would like to be the only pets. All four cats are looking for safe, loving homes where they won't be left for too long in the day.

Belle is another stray, found wandering the streets. She is such a loving girl and just wants to be around people where she can get lots of fuss and attention. Belle has been around children and doesn't mind calm female cats but absolutely hates male cats. Belle deserves another chance at finding her forever home and if you feel you can offer that to her then please pop in to meet her!

These boys are a bonded pair of stray cats who were part of a colony. They are a very anxious but sweet pair who just need a bit of time to come out of their shells, once they do they are incredibly affectionate. We would love them to find a home together, in a quieter home. They have not been tested around dogs and even though they have roamed the streets with other cats, we are unsure how they would react to living with other cats.

Ruby and Lola have found themselves at Last Chance after the passing of their owner. At the moment they are very underweight, dehydrated and will need a nice, quiet home together. Ideally they would like a home with no other cats and no young children.

Nellie has come to Last Chance after having issues with her skin. She is a very loving girl who loves a head scratch. She found it quite stressful to be around young children in her previous home and so a home with no young children would be best, to try to help her skin issues. She is good around the other neighbourhood cats and so could potentially live with a calm cat but cannot live with dogs. She will have her skin looked at by our vet as soon as possible and will hopefully be on some medication to help get her skin and fur nice and healthy.

Sooty is the sweetest boy, he has lived with his beloved mum all his life and has come to Last Chance after she sadly died recently to find another loving home. Sooty loved to sleep on the bed beside his mum and had a soft spot on the sofa, where he snuggled up on the comfy cushions. Sooty would love to be the only spoilt pet, and he is OK with very gentle older children. Sooty is unfortunately very overweight at the moment but with gentle reductions to his diet over time, he should be able to reach a comfortable weight. Sooty will make a lovely companion for a kind couple or a single woman. He has been a little nervous around men but this has been improving recently.
Toothless & Pouncer

Toothless came to Last Chance pregnant and had one tiny, precious baby. She is so happy, she was desperately lonely and now she has created her own little friend. Toothless is understandably very proud and very protective of her little boy and is looking for a home where they will be the only pets, and won't have access to busy or main roads once they are ready to go outside. They would like to be homed where someone is around most of the day to give little Pouncer all the care and attention he needs, and older, very gentle children will help Toothless to feel secure and safe, and can help to socialise Pouncer so that he can grow into a happy and confident cat. Toothless is a little shy at first, but once she knows you are a kind friend, she is very sweet and affectionate. These two are ready to go to a new home, and will stay indoors until they are ready to come back to us for their vaccinations and neutering when they are ready.

Maple and Coco are looking for a new forever home after being returned to our rescue through no fault of their own. They are a very affectionate and bonded pair so must be rehomed together. Both girls are gentle, friendly and have plenty of playful moments. They are a sweet and affectionate pair who love company and enjoy spending their days relaxing together.

Loki is an affectionate and playful lap cat once he knows a new person, but he has trust issues and is looking for a very brave, patient, kind new owner who will cope with a difficult start. When he is nervous or over-excited Loki bites and scratches very suddenly, and he needs someone who will ignore it completely until he feels safe and knows nothing bad is going to happen to him. Loki lived with his human mum since he was a kittten and has come to us, bewildered and sad after her death to find a new loving home. He needs an adult only home with no other pets. He will be fairly outdoorsy once he is settled in and is likely to bring his lucky owner "gifts". Loki is going to be a really lovely, busy, noisy very playful companion once he has found his paws, he just needs a chance and all support and advice would be given to help him and his new owner to adjust to each other. He and I get on fabulously and I am greeted every morning by a very loving boy. He particularly enjoys sharing my vegan ham sandwiches.

Chloe has been at Last Chance for a while now. Unfortunately she was un neutered when she arrived and quickly went through a very severe season, after which her personality changed quite drastically. She became fearful and aggressive towards other cats and started to bite and scratch. Initially this was quite hard to manage, but she started taking calming supplements to help her to feel less aggressive and these have really helped. She has developed a sweet relationship with me which means she can develop a relationship with another person, but it will take time and a lot of patience. She is very independent and will only tolerate short interactions with me and then she is off, doing her own thing. She absolutely loves to sunbathe in the warm weather, and when it is cold she will sleep most of the day away in her cosy bed, I know she will be a big fan of radiators! She is a very successful hunter when the odd mouse finds its way into her house, and is very good at catching flies and moths. Chloe has the most silky fur which matts very easily and unfortunately she is unable to manage it herself, so we sort it out for her when she needs help and this is something we would continue to do for her if she went to a home as she trusts myself and the vet to do it without the need for sedation. Chloe is a very funny, playful, busy girl, and for an experienced owner who doesn't mind taking their time and allowing everything to be on Chloe's terms, she will, in time become an affectionate, playful companion. Last Chance will give a new owner all the support they need to help Chloe to settle into a new home.
