Little Rosebud was born outside and grew up in a colony of feral cats. Of course she became pregnant, but instead of giving birth outside, desperately fighting to protect her babies, struggling to get enough food and find shelter, a very kind woman spotted Rosebud amongst all the other cats, and realising she was pregnant, bought a trap to try and catch her. Rosebud was desperate for help and got into the trap. Three days later she gave birth to five little kittens and with the help of that kind woman, she was able to care for them in a safe, warm and loving home. Rosebud had a space promised at the cattery and is here now with her babies. When they are old enough, she will be looking for a home with one dear little fluffball. They would like a home as the only pets with no children. Rosebud needs a home where very kind adults will give her time and space to gain in confidence and start to really develop a relationship with her new people. She and her little one must not have access to main or busy roads and would not be left for more than 4 hours in the day. Petal is incredibly sweet and well socialised and will bring love and laughter wherever she goes while her mum takes time to settle in.

Bart and Lisa are a very sweet brother and sister looking for a loving home together where they won't be left for too long during the day. They have had a fairly quiet life so far, Bart is quite brave and makes friends quickly but Lisa is a little bit shy so they would benefit from a home with gentle older children. They can be homed with cat friendly cats and dogs and are going to make really lovely family pets.

Mac and Cheese were found living in a garage, they are very nervous as they have not had much human interaction. They will need an owner that will be very patient and will spend time socialising them. Mac and Cheese could potentially live with another confident cat and older kids that will respect their space.

Max has found himself at New Romney after the new baby becoming allergic to him. He has been with us a few days and still isn't feeling super confident and will prefer hiding under a blanket. He is incredibly nervous and would need a quiet home, with a nice room where he can start off in and get used to his new home and owners. We have been told by his previous owners that once he gets to know someone and feels safe, then he is a very affectionate cat.

Poor Rose was found by the postman as she was left behind by her owners when they moved house. She has been a sweet girl so far with us. We are unsure what she is like around other animals or children at this current time. Rose is currently being treated for suspected flystrike. If you feel you can offer Rose the home she deserves, please pop in during our opening times.

Salem and Binx have found themselves at Last Chance by no fault of their own. They are typical kittens, very sweet and playful! These boys will like to go home together and could possibly live with other animals and children. A very sweet boy who has lost his connection with his home after his owner's husband sadly died. Jimmy has been roaming and staying in neighbour's houses, and his owner is worried about him being in danger on the roads. He is looking for a very safe home and can be homed with very friendly dogs, cats and kids 5+yrs. He will be neutered and that should help him to stay closer to home. Jimmy will need to stay indoors for 2 - 3 months to help him to become established in his new home.

Two very sweet pairs of kittens (Rosebud's babies). These are the very sweetest kittens, very well socialised and they have been loved and cared for beautifully. They will soon be looking for very loving homes where they won't have access to main or busy roads, and they won't be left for more than 4 hours. They can be homed with gentle cat-friendly dogs and cats and gentle children 4yrs+. They really will be the most wonderful family pets.

Latte, Chai Gender/Age: Males and Female, 4 months Breed: Domestic Short Haired Colour: Tabby Location: New Romney These poor kittens were found living behind Costa along with their Mum. After public and staff intervention, they were trapped and brought into Last Chance where they are decompressing and slowly getting used to being around people. They are incredibly nervous and need a quiet home with a very understanding and patient owner who will help them adjust to life in a home. We would like them to go in pairs so they will have each other as company. At this current time, we would advise that they don't go to a home with young children as they are very scared.

PussPuss has been hanging around a factory for a very long time and unfortunately doesn't trust people at all. During this time she has had litter after litter and has never had a break. Due to her rough life on the street and never being in a home, she will need a lot of time to settle and learn to trust people. PussPuss could possibly live with teenagers that understand her boundaries. We do not know what PussPuss is like with other cats or dogs, but we believe she would be to nervous for a dog in the home.

Hayley and Hollie are a very sweet, playful, funny pair of sisters looking for a loving home together where they won't be left for more than four hours in the day. Unfortunately they are very under socialised and will need lots of patient, gentle interaction to help them to become confident pets. They can be homed with very gentle dogs and cats, but will need a home where the children are older and will hopefully enjoy working with the kittens to help them to become more confident. These two will give a great deal back to kind owners who are prepared to invest time and energy into their care and development.

Toothless came to Last Chance pregnant and had one tiny, precious baby. She is so happy, she was desperately lonely and now she has created her own little friend. Toothless is understandably very proud and very protective of her little boy and is looking for a home where they will be the only pets, and won't have access to busy or main roads once they are ready to go outside. They would like to be homed where someone is around most of the day to give little Pouncer all the care and attention he needs, and older, very gentle children will help Toothless to feel secure and safe, and can help to socialise Pouncer so that he can grow into a happy and confident cat. Toothless is a little shy at first, but once she knows you are a kind friend, she is very sweet and affectionate. These two are ready to go to a new home, and will stay indoors until they are ready to come back to us for their vaccinations and neutering when they are ready.

Maple and Coco are looking for a new forever home after being returned to our rescue through no fault of their own. They are a very affectionate and bonded pair so must be rehomed together. Both girls are gentle, friendly and have plenty of playful moments. They are a sweet and affectionate pair who love company and enjoy spending their days relaxing together.

Loki is an affectionate and playful lap cat once he knows a new person, but he has trust issues and is looking for a very brave, patient, kind new owner who will cope with a difficult start. When he is nervous or over-excited Loki bites and scratches very suddenly, and he needs someone who will ignore it completely until he feels safe and knows nothing bad is going to happen to him. Loki lived with his human mum since he was a kittten and has come to us, bewildered and sad after her death to find a new loving home. He needs an adult only home with no other pets. He will be fairly outdoorsy once he is settled in and is likely to bring his lucky owner "gifts". Loki is going to be a really lovely, busy, noisy very playful companion once he has found his paws, he just needs a chance and all support and advice would be given to help him and his new owner to adjust to each other. He and I get on fabulously and I am greeted every morning by a very loving boy. He particularly enjoys sharing my vegan ham sandwiches.

Chloe is an affectionate lap cat whose owner is working long hours and can no longer give her the time and attention she needs. Chloe needs an adult only home and would love a home where she is not left alone for too long. Unfortunately Chloe has proved to be absolutely terrified of other animals and is very aggressive towards them, so she will need to be an only pet. Chloe needs to stay indoors for 6-8 weeks as she has not been outside yet. She is an extremely active cat who enjoys a lot of interactive play and can become frustrated but once she is able to go outside and race around she will burn off some energy and feel much better.
