Arthur and Colin (a girl) were vulnerable, starving kittens, hiding by the bins when a very kind person took them into her home and looked after them. When they were about a year old they found another very loving home, but sadly their owners are now moving and can't take them. This very handsome brother and sister are looking for a loving home where they will be involved in family life and have plenty of company. They both love to spend time with their people, but Arthur is particularly keen to stretch out on a nice warm person and will enjoy sleeping on and in the bed, yes please. Colin will also enjoy company and sits next to people or on laps, but she also loves to squeeze into small, cosy spaces or get up high to have a good look around. These two have only started going outside recently and have had a huge amount of change in their lives. They would like to be the only pets with gentle kids 8+yrs, and would need to stay indoors for two to three months to become firmly established in the home, and of course, always indoors at night. They need a home with no access to main or busy roads. Arthur and Colin are very vocal and like to tell you about their day. These two have been very much loved pets and will make a fabulous addition to a loving family. Arthur must not have access to hairbands or any kind of elastic band as he likes to eat them.

Soap and Sponge came from a home where they were part of an unwanted litter and were not properly cared for. They were then passed on to family members when the owners were moving and now they have come into Last Chance to find a loving home where they can enjoy family life and get the care and attention they deserve. They will need to stay indoors for 8 to 10 weeks as they haven't been outside yet and have had a lot of changes in their short lives. They are a very sweet pair of sisters who love cuddles and games and laps to sit on. They will be fine with cat friendly dogs and cats and gentle children 7+yrs. Soap and Sponge are going to be fantastic family pets in a safe loving home where they won't be left alone for too long.

Muffin has been handed in to Last Chance as a stray. She is a very sweet friendly girl that has got on with everyone she has met so far. Muffin has a skin condition which has been healing will with some cream. We are unsure on how Muffin will be with other cats and dogs, but we feel as she could live with older children that are cat savvy. Jaguar was a much loved pet, but unfortunately his dad has become unwell and can no longer care for him. Jaguar was taken back in by the family, but having lived as an only pet all his life, he is quite dominant and cannot live with their cats. He is a very lovely boy, an affectionate lap cat who enjoys company. He was with his dad all the time, so he won't want to be left for more than a few hours in the day. Jaguar enjoys playing with things on strings and really enjoys interacting with his people, and he will want to sleep on the bed, yes please! He is a lovely, confident cat who will enjoy family life with gentle children 8 years and over, or he will make a lovely companion for a single person or couple who would love him and make him a big part of their day to day life. In the summer Jaguar loves to spend time outdoors but he is fairly homely and won't go wandering. In the colder weather he loves to be cosy and spend time at home.

Sid was bought from a breeder as a kitten and unfortunately has not been neutered and has been allowed to roam freely. He has become a large, powerful adult, and although he is very affectionate and sweet with his family, he has been going into the neighbour's house and attacking their cats. Instead of neutering him, his owner has handed him over for rehoming. We will neuter and vaccinate Sid and before long he will start to feel much better. He is looking for a home where he will not be left for too long in the day, where he will be the only cat. His owner says he is fine with cat friendly dogs and should be fine with gentle children 10yrs and over. He really enjoys the great outdoors but is not used to roads, having lived on a large plot of land, so he needs a very safe home where he won't have access to main or busy roads. Once he has been neutered and has calmed down, Sid will make a lovely pet for a family where he will get lots of attention and really be part of family life.

Sirius has been handed into last Chance as a stray. He appears to be a very sweet boy and is very affectionate. He has already become a favourite with the staff and volunteers here. We do not know anything about his history before coming to us so will be looking for an adult only home without other pets, as we have no idea what his preferences are! Halema & Salah are a lovely brother and sister pair. They have been very much loved and taken care of and given up for rehoming very reluctantly due to a change in the family's circumstances. The cats will sometimes sit on laps, but will happily sit beside their owners on the sofa and Halema particularly loves to sit with her owner on the bed. This is a very loving, calm, confident pair of cats who will make fantastic family pets in a home where they will have plenty of company and attention. They can be homed with other cats and children 6+yrs. Halema & Salah are quite homely, and although they enjoy going outside, they do not go far from home and will soon be back inside looking for a fuss.

Jerry has come into Last Chance through no fault of his own, he is a sweet boy but very nervous. He is looking for a calm, patient home where he can take all of the time he needs to come out of his shell. We do not know what he is like around dogs however he has lived with another cat previously and potentially could again. Due to his nerves his ideal home would have no young children. Chloe is an affectionate lap cat whose owner is working long hours and can no longer give her the time and attention she needs. Chloe needs an adult only home and would love a home where she is not left alone for too long. Unfortunately Chloe has proved to be absolutely terrified of other animals and is very aggressive towards them, so she will need to be an only pet. Chloe needs to stay indoors for 6-8 weeks as she has not been outside yet. She is an extremely active cat who enjoys a lot of interactive play and can become frustrated but once she is able to go outside and race around she will burn off some energy and feel much better.

Lily and her son Elvis are a very sweet, affectionate pair of cats. They have been used to a busy household and will be fine with family life, but are looking for a home with children 10+yrs as Lily does not cope well with younger children. They are both lapcats and will come and ask for a fuss and both enjoy grooming. They are not very keen on toys but love scratching posts and will chase a laser. They both got on very well with a group of cats outside the home but don't like dogs. Lily enjoys hunting and will catch birds. Lily and Elvis have been given up for rehoming after a change of circumstances in the family, but they have been much loved and will make really lovely pets for a lucky family.

Loki is an affectionate and playful lap cat once he knows a new person, but he has trust issues and is looking for a very brave, patient, kind new owner who will cope with a difficult start. When he is nervous or over-excited Loki bites and scratches very suddenly, and he needs someone who will ignore it completely until he feels safe and knows nothing bad is going to happen to him. Loki lived with his human mum since he was a kittten and has come to us, bewildered and sad after her death to find a new loving home. He needs an adult only home with no other pets. He will be fairly outdoorsy once he is settled in and is likely to bring his lucky owner "gifts". Loki is going to be a really lovely, busy, noisy very playful companion once he has found his paws, he just needs a chance and all support and advice would be given to help him and his new owner to adjust to each other. He and I get on fabulously and I am greeted every morning by a very loving boy. He particularly enjoys sharing my vegan ham sandwiches.

Ed and Oreo have been handed to Last Chance as their previous owners had to move house and were unable to take them. Ed and Oreo are siblings from different litters and have a very close bond, so we are looking for them to be rehomed together. They both have had access to the outdoors and get on ok with the other cats in the neighbourhood. Ed and Oreo have lived with young children and get on great with them. Little Noah was born here at the centre and is now open for people to apply. Noah will remain at the centre until he is at least 8 weeks before going off on his new adventure. Noah is a cheeky chappie that will be typical kitten, climbing and getting up to mischief. We rehome kittens in pairs so Noah must go home that already has a cat. Noah will be able to live with children that are cat savvy as well as gentle dogs. Charlie has been roaming as a stray for around a year before being handed in to Last Chance. He seems very friendly and enjoys a nice fuss, but can be a little shy. Charlie has some wounds on his body possibly from a cat fight, these will be treated with our vet. We are unaware of Charlie's history so we do not know how is with cats or dogs.
