Moét came to us after her owner went in to hospital and is unable to provide further care for her. Moét has only known life with her owner and hasn't been around other animals and so is extremely fearful of dogs and very standoffish with cats. She is a lovely girl who can be a bit timid at first but will always come out for a cuddle. Moét is looking for a home where she can ideally be the only pet and could live with calmer children who will give her the space to come out of her shell.

Poor Fluffy came to us with her doggie companion due to their owner passing away. Fluffy doesn't fully understand what is happening so is a little nervous at the moment and may take a bit of time to settle in. Despite only just coming in, she is already very inquisitive and wanting to come out for a fuss. Fluffy has previously lived with dogs, cats and children but due to her age she will be needing a quieter home.

A very dear mother and daughter whose mum can no longer afford to look after them. Gutsy is affectionate and sweet and Speedy is a bit more independent. They are both very scared and bewildered at the moment, having lost everything and everyone they know. They would love a home together with no other pets and older children. Once they have settled into their new home they will be sweet companions for loving new owners.

This lovely duo came in with 2 other kittens and are still patiently waiting for their forever home. They are a little nervous especially when people go to touch them but are slowly coming around. They are a young pair (who can go separately - but love the company of other cats) who love causing mischief and playing with their toys. This pair would need a nice safe place to settle in and have an owner who will be patient with them and give them the time to come out of their shells.

This brother and sister duo came in due to no fault of their own. They are such a lovely pair who have always lived together so we would like to keep them together. Within hours of being here, they were making themselves at home and sitting on our volunteers laps demanding head scratches. Leo absolutely adores having his tummy rubbed and Lexi prefers having a chin scratch. They have lived with kids and dogs before and would make the perfect addition to anyone's home.

Bubby has been with her family since she was a little kitten and Tigerr and Zebby are her very handsome sons from two different litters. This family of cats have been dearly loved pets, but unfortunately their dad is not well and their landlord was threatening to evict the family if the cats were not removed. Tigerr and Zebby are very bonded brothers and are looking for a very loving home together. Bubby would like a home where someone is around for most of the day as she loves a lap to curl up on and lots of fuss. Unfortunately she has a poorly heart and so every day is precious, Last Chance will take care of her veterinary needs, she just needs a loving home. Tigerr and Zebby are also lap cats and love lots of fuss and human company. The three cats are looking for homes with no other pets and gentle, older children, the cats are gentle but haven't been around children before. All three cats really enjoy going into the garden but are homely and don't wander. These cats have been loved and are very loving, they have big personalities and will thoroughly enjoy being part of family life. Photo of single is the lovely Bubby

Loki is an affectionate and playful lap cat once he knows a new person, but he has trust issues and is looking for a very brave, patient, kind new owner who will cope with a difficult start. When he is nervous or over-excited Loki bites and scratches very suddenly, and he needs someone who will ignore it completely until he feels safe and knows nothing bad is going to happen to him. Loki lived with his human mum since he was a kittten and has come to us, bewildered and sad after her death to find a new loving home. He needs an adult only home with no other pets. He will be fairly outdoorsy once he is settled in and is likely to bring his lucky owner "gifts". Loki is going to be a really lovely, busy, noisy very playful companion once he has found his paws, he just needs a chance and all support and advice would be given to help him and his new owner to adjust to each other. He and I get on fabulously and I am greeted every morning by a very loving boy. He particularly enjoys sharing my vegan ham sandwiches.

Little Mouse was brought in as a stray, she's very young and is very unsure of the world. Due to her not having any socialisation prior to coming in, she finds being touched very scary and will often lash out and bite out of fear. Tango is another stray who hasn't had much interaction with people. He has been very brave and started taking treats from hands but isn't confident enough to be touched. He will often hiss when you enter his pen but he's just very unsure of people. Tango would benefit from having a quiet, adult only home where he can be left to settle and do his own thing. We haven't been able to test Tango with other cats as he often refuses to leave his bed during the day.

Faz and Ellie are a very sweet pair of cats who, through no fault of their own have been abandoned by two different owners. They are very affectionate and both of them enjoy company and lots of fuss, Ellie in particular is a lap cat. Faz and Ellie would like a home where they are the only pets, they have not met children yet, but they both have such lovely temperaments, I think they would settle well with very gentle, slightly older children who are able to give them some time and space to find their paws. The cats have not been outside yet, so would need to become well established in the home for 8-10 weeks before going out for the first time. These two are going to be such sweet pets for very lucky new owners.

Sam was bought to be a companion to an owner who thought a cat would help with her mental health problems, but unfortunately having a pet to look after and worry about made things worse, so sadly Sam has been given up for rehoming. He is a very sweet boy, a little bit skittish, and very playful. He is still very young and would really benefit from the company of a kind cat who is looking for a friend to play with. Sam should be fine with older, gentle children who can give him a bit of space and time to settle in.

Roger and Horace have come to Last Chance after their owner became homeless. They are very sweet boys who have been much loved family pets and can be homed with other cats and children as young as 3 years. The boys are both lap cats and enjoy company and cuddles. Jasper came to Last Chance with Roger and Horace after his owner became homeless. Jasper is a little more independent than the other two cats and wasn't keen on the young children in the home which meant he spent quite a lot of time outside. He got on alright with his cat friends but he would prefer a home as the only pet with quiet, older children . He has been a much loved pet and is looking for a very loving home.

Cotton came to us through no fault of his own. When he first arrived he was understandably very nervous and wouldn't let any of us near him. During his time here, both staff and volunteers have spent time sitting with him and giving him lots of treats and he has improved so much! He still isn't a fan of being touched but is getting braver everyday. Cotton will still need a lot of work with an owner who is patient and in a home with no young kids. He has previously lived with cats before and could potentially live with them again.

Meet Milo who is the chattiest cat in the cattery! Milo came to us after he was being bullied by the other cat in the home. Due to the bullying mainly around feeding time, he has become very excitable about his food and is a bit possessive over his bowls. Chloe is an affectionate lap cat whose owner is working long hours and can no longer give her the time and attention she needs. Chloe needs an adult only home and would love a home where she is not left alone for too long. Unfortunately Chloe has proved to be absolutely terrified of other animals and is very aggressive towards them, so she will need to be an only pet. Chloe needs to stay indoors for 6-8 weeks as she has not been outside yet. She is an extremely active cat who enjoys a lot of interactive play and can become frustrated but once she is able to go outside and race around she will burn off some energy and feel much better.
