Meet Button's kittens! They were found as strays so we're not sure what their exact age is. At the moment they are very nervous but we're hoping with time and a bit of socialisation that they will soon be mischievous little kittens.

Finley is a very sweet little boy who has been raised by his mum and his aunt who has now found a loving home of her own. Finley and his mum Goose are looking for a very loving home together with no other pets and older, gentle children. The cats would like lots of company in the day and Finley needs to carry on with his socialisation. These are a very sweet pair of cats who will be very lovely, playful pets once they have settled into their new homes.

Billy and Georgie came in as strays so we don't know how old they are. They are a very sweet pair who will be ready to leave us once they are roughly 8 weeks old and have been microchipped and had their first vaccination. They are ready to view and reserve so please come and meet them at our New Romney branch!

These 4 kittens were handed in with their mum, Jade, as strays. They are typical kittens, very playful and inquisitive. These 4 could live with another cat or dog, as well as gentle children.

Molly came to us with her litter of kittens and is now looking for a new home. She is extremely nervous and is not sure what is happening. At the moment she is learning to trust people and is spending time as a staff flat cat. Since coming into the flat we've discovered that she will generally find a safe space and spend most of her time there but will venture out at night. During her nightly adventures she enjoys staring out the windows, playing with the blinds and singing her heart out. It's during this time that she is most comfortable with people attempting to befriend her. As she is so nervous she is best off not living with children and will need someone very patient to help her come out of her shell.

Hazel is a very sweet lady who wants to be around you all the time. She has recently given birth to 4 little kittens and has been a great mum; she will need to wait until her babies are 8 weeks before going to a new home. Hazel is very affectionate and she doesn't mind interrupting our morning cleaning demanding fusses! Hazel could go to a home with gentle kids.

Baxter was a lost stray and came in to us to find a new home. He is the sweetest boy in the cattery and we never had a cross word. Unfortunately when he went to a home with another cat, he demonstrated a strong desire to be the only pet and was returned. He is looking for a home where he will be the only pet with no children. He is a very affectionate, playful boy, a real lap cat with a strong personality who likes to be king of the house.

Jade was handed in with her 4 kittens as strays. She is a very sweet girl who likes a fuss but is a bit more laid back. Jade's front leg seems to be deformed, but it doesn't seem to cause her any problems or pain. She could go to a home with gentle children.

Unfortunately Gwen came to Last Chance pregnant again with at least her second litter. She has been the most wonderful mum to her two boys and now she is looking for a very loving foster home where she can stay while she takes care of her new babies once they are born, or where someone is thinking of adopting and would enjoy getting to meet their new pet from the very beginning. It is a wonderful thing to help a mum to look after her babies and all you need is a quiet room and time, we provide the rest. Gwen is nervous of strangers and can be scratchy until she knows people so would be best in a home with much older children who can give her time and space to settle in. Milly is a very dear little girl who was found in a garden when her three kittens were only a few days old. Understandably, she is a little nervous and very protective of her little ones. She would love a home with her little boy Charlie who is the smallest of her kittens, and affectionate and playful. They would like to be the only pets in a home where they will not be left for more than 4-6 hours in the day, where they will not have access to main or busy roads and where the children are a little older and can understand that Milly may take a little while to feel safe and make friends. These two sweeties will be lovely family pets in a safe, loving home. A very sweet kitten and a lovely mum.

Deacon is yet another un-neutered male who has become lost and been wandering, desperately searching for food and shelter. He is very bewildered at the moment, but I can see that he wants to make friends. He is due to be neutered next week and once his hormones have settled down, he will feel much better and less stressed. Deacon is looking for an adult only home as the only pet where he will be safe and loved.

Ozzy and Bailey Gender/Age: Female and male 11 years Breed: Domestic Short Haired and Long haired Colour: Black and white and Tortiseshell Location: New Romney This lovely pair have really come out of their shells over the last couple of weeks but unfortunately haven't had any interest. They were extremely nervous and shut down to start with but have recently loved coming out for a fuss and a cuddle. Even though they have settled now, they may need some time to settle into a new home, so we're looking for a home with no dogs and no young kids so that it isn't too stressful for them during this time. Please come in and see them! They deserve a nice home where they can live together and have lots of cuddles.

Costello hasn't had the best luck when it comes to finding his forever home. Unfortunately, he has a few health issues which has led to bouts of diarrhoea. However he hasn't let this affect him as he loves giving out lots of cuddles and sunbathing. Costello is looking for a quiet home where he can live out his golden years with no young kids. Smudge came in with a group of cats that were found as strays. He is such a cuddlebug who has recently discovered the joys of sleeping on the bed! He loves nothing more than being stroked and making lots and lots of air biscuits. He still has moments of being unsure and nervous but once he feels safe he won't stop purring and asking for attention. Smudge has previously been around cats and would make the perfect addition for anyone looking for a super friendly, affectionate cat.
Lizzy & Luca

Lizzy and Luca were born outside and have lived in a family group of cats until now. They were being fed by a few different people and one kind person organised for the two cats to come to Last Chance to keep them safe while they wait for a new home. Lizzy had been to the vet before but today was Luca's first visit and although he was terrified, he did really well. Both cats are nervous and will need lots of help to develop into confident, happy pets. Lizzy is already very responsive and settles down for a purr and a stroke once she feels safe. Luca will need time and both of the cats will need a safe place to hide until they feel safe, but they have huge potential to become affectionate and loving pets. Luca and Lizzy are looking for a very loving home with very gentle children 12yrs and over who can give them space and time to find their feet and work out what pet life is all about in their first ever home. Both cats should be fine with very gentle cat friendly dogs and cats and will need a home where someone is going to spend a lot of time interacting with them.

Bertie has been with his family since he was a kitten and for the first two years of his life he was a happy, family pet. He has always been fairly independent and very much enjoyed being outside, but after his owners had a baby, he slowly started spending less time in the home. Over the past five years his time away has increased and now he visits briefly but won't stay and they are unable to care for him properly and are worried that he doesn't really have a home. Bertie has lost some of his connection with people and will take time to get used to being a pet again, but in an adult only home with no other pets, where he has plenty of safe outdoor space to roam, and hunt, he will be able to enjoy the stability of having a home of his own and develop a relationship with kind, patient people.

Chloe is an affectionate lap cat whose owner is working long hours and can no longer give her the time and attention she needs. Chloe needs an adult only home and would love a home where she is not left alone for too long. Unfortunately Chloe has proved to be absolutely terrified of other animals and is very aggressive towards them, so she will need to be an only pet. Chloe needs to stay indoors for 6-8 weeks as she has not been outside yet. She is an extremely active cat who enjoys a lot of interactive play and can become frustrated but once she is able to go outside and race around she will burn off some energy and feel much better.

Loki is an affectionate and playful lap cat once he knows a new person, but he has trust issues and is looking for a very brave, patient, kind new owner who will cope with a difficult start. When he is nervous or over-excited Loki bites and scratches very suddenly, and he needs someone who will ignore it completely until he feels safe and knows nothing bad is going to happen to him. Loki lived with his human mum since he was a kittten and has come to us, bewildered and sad after her death to find a new loving home. He needs an adult only home with no other pets. He will be fairly outdoorsy once he is settled in and is likely to bring his lucky owner "gifts". Loki is going to be a really lovely, busy, noisy very playful companion once he has found his paws, he just needs a chance and all support and advice would be given to help him and his new owner to adjust to each other. He and I get on fabulously and I am greeted every morning by a very loving boy. He particularly enjoys sharing my vegan ham sandwiches.
